Mandy Queen Bio
Mandy Queen is one of Hong Kong’s leading Public Relations practitioners with nearly 25 years’ international experience in strategic planning and reputation management.
Mandy set up PR Agency Cred Communications in 2010, and has worked with clients including British Council on the SPARK arts and education festival, Global Sources, Informa Markets, Agricultural Horticulture & Development Board, Scottish Government, Forum of Incident Response Teams, Korean Government, New World Development, Weave Co-Living to name but a few. In 2005 Mandy arrived in Hong Kong and embraced its unique positioning as the heart of Asia and the gateway to China by marketing conferences and exhibitions for Global Sources and Messe Frankfurt across Asia Pacific and the Middle East.
Prior to moving to Hong Kong, Mandy was Head of Communications for the Sea Fish Industry Authority. She started at SFIA as a Communications Manager and was quickly promoted to Head of Communications becoming responsible for all aspects of communications planning from consumer and corporate communications to crisis communications and public affairs. Her first role in communications was after graduating with a BA in Communications in Scotland when she worked inhouse at Scottish Courage Brands (now Heineken) doing marketing communications and events for global beer brands Becks, Fosters and Miller Genuine Draft – this is where her passion for communications really started.
Mandy was invited to be the Programs Chair for Hong Kong’s public relations body PRHK, a co-organiser of Hong Kong’s Creative Mornings and has been a keynote speaker at various conferences in Brussels at the EU, Sweden and the Hong Kong Convention Exhibition Industry Association. She is currently one of The Women Foundation’s “Women to Watch” an initiative to increase the number of women sitting on boards in Hong Kong.

Agriculture & Development Board
I work with the UK's Agricultural Horticulture Development Board to raise awareness of premium and sustainable meat from Britain. I have achieved this by organising a successful annual Young Chef Competition, Cantonese media dinners and bi-lingual social media marketing and ad campaigns.
I successfully represented the Scottish Government and Scotland Re:Designed in Hong Kong to showcase Scottish fashion and textile designers at PMQ. I organised media interviews, a VIP event featuring fashion buyers and high level stakeholders, engagement with local fashion influencers and social media marketing.
British Council in Hong Kong
I represented British Council over a period of several years. I was there every step of the way, leveraging connections with media outlets to attract target audiences and ensure maximum coverage and social media impact for their annual arts and education festival - SPARK at Twai Kwun, their participation at the Hong Kong Book Festival and other arts and literature events.

I worked with Emack & Bolio's for a number of years developing a wide number of creative concepts to get hundreds of media items, social media engagement, influencer engagement including National Ice Cream Month. Not suprisingly we got spectacular results.
Komune by Ovolo
I launched Ovolo Group's new F&B brand - Komune with a successful media, influencer and social media campaign. The resulting coverage and awareness resulted in Komune going to no1 on Trip Advisor and becoming the talk of the town.
I developed a bi-lingual earned and paid social media strategy that resulted in 400 leads for Informa, the organisers of Cosmoprof Asia.
I worked with Emerald Lake to educate the media across Hong Kong about their new concept - Weave Co-living. It was a long and challenging process, but in the end—not surprisingly—we came out with spectacular results across the media with hundreds of articles and interviews with the founder and about Weave.
